Centralized Wait List Portal


The Pawtucket Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) waitlist list is currently open and will remain open indefinitely. The Pawtucket Housing Authority participates in the Rhode Island Housing Centralized Waiting List (CWL).

To apply onto the Centralized Waiting List, please visit and create an account on the online portal at To create an account, you must do the following:

  • Click on the "Applicant Login" link in the top right corner
  • On the next screen, click the "Click here to register" link
  • On the following screen, click on the "I want to apply for housing assistance" button
  • Next select whether or not you have a registration code and continue the instructions
  • Complete all fields

By using the online portal, you will have the ability to update your information online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you will have the opportunity to add your name to the waiting list of any participating housing authority in RI. The Rhode Island Housing Choice Voucher Centralized Wait List Portal is the sole method for submitting an application. 

To be determined “conditionally eligible” and placed on one or more waiting lists, applicants must fall within each agency’s maximum annual income limits for their household size. Conditionally eligible applicants will be placed on the applicable waiting lists based on the date and time of application, and any selection preferences established by each housing authority.
